Tech user

At MIT I did not study IT or Computer Science. I studied the use of mathematics and logic in making decisions. I took courses in Probability and Statistics, Operations Research, Logic, Economics, Political Economy even TV and Media. Model United Nations, Zeta Psi Fraternity, Speech and Debate. Even played racketball.

The first computer I saw was a friend's Texas Instruments calculator. A mainframe with punchcards at Lafayette College. At MIT Apples and IBM pcs. At Nothwestern I even looped the university's mainframe with my thesis trials (Lagrangian Relaxation).

My first pc was a Huyadai. At INSEAD I used its Macs. In 1994 I bought a second hand ICL. ICE pc from 1998 to 2004 when it caught fire from uveruse! Since then mostly laptops. My first mobile in 1995. I use smartphones casually.

I do not use Apple and its iTunes. I prefer Windows. I hardly used Dropboc but solved most of your issues. Online since 1998.
