I voted for Kostas Karamanlis (Athens Law School and Fletcher School (Tufts)) because when I was young I read in Tachydromos magazine a report of his behavior as an envoy of his party to a chapter in NW Greece,

It must have been circa 1980. This gutsy guy told the whole local chapter off!

So I voted for him in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2007 and 2009 thus feel partly responsible for the fact that in 2009 under his 2004-2009 watch the Greek state's economics went belly up.

He was gutsy when young. The press, the party, other factors and the fact he did not have business or economics training affected his leadership and his Finance Minister and he led to yet another dark age for Greece.
