Straight talk by Kyriakos Mitsotakis on RealFM today

I've never met fellow Athens College alum Kyriakos Mitsotakis in person.

At the Athens Interconti during the first 2015 election campaigns where I went to watch Antonis Samaras (another Athens College MBA) speak, I noticed Kyriakos jump out of his ministerial limo and dash into the hotel. He was Minister for Administrative Reform in the last Samaras government (Samaras was PM from 2012 to 2015).

Today he said during a radio interview at RealFM:

"Εγώ λέω στην επιχειρηματική κοινότητα καθαρές κουβέντες. Θα μειώσω τη φορολογία. Θα βελτίωσω το επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον. Αλλά ζητώ από εσάς απόλυτο σεβασμό στην εργασιακή νομοθεσία. Και είναι λάθος ότι η κυβέρνηση δρομολογεί την μείωση των προστίμων για αδήλωτη εργασία." #realfm

"I talk straight to the business community. I will reduce taxation. I will improve the business environnment. But I ask from you absolute respect of labo(u)r law. And it is a mistake that the (Tsipras) government is implementing the reduction of fines for undeclared work." (my translation)

I would like to remind my readers that Kyriakos has a BS in Social Sciences, an MS in International Affairs in addition to his HBS MBA.

I have a BS in Decision engineering and an MS in the same area. My MBA is from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Kyriakos has worked for McKinsey in London as well as two Greek banks.

Need I add more?
