All jobs in Europe must be declared to OAED and paid via salary unless the job is clearly independent!

I saw this now inactive late March job advert on a job site:

"TEDxUniversityofPiraeus

Volunteers Coordinator VOLUNTARY WORK"

All jobs in Europe must be declared, and in Greece this means to OAED and paid via salary unless the job is clearly independent!

Independent work though means truly and really independent, else the Labour Inspectorate has to fine the employer. Same as Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized today in a radio interview! That's the Stournaras rule!

Cash (black market) work is not allowed. Same as selling w/o a permit or operating a taxi in the Memoranda Greece.

If you don't like a law, change it, don't break it.
